Commercial Pressure Vessels
Hydraulic Accumulators
Lightweight repairable bladder accumulators engineered for hydraulic systems where weight, durability and packaging matter.
Steelhead's accumulator families span compact 4-liter units through 30-gallon high-pressure bladder accumulators and 40-gallon low-pressure systems.

Lightweight fluid-power storage
Composite accumulator technology for demanding hydraulic systems.
Steelhead's accumulator portfolio includes aluminum-lined Type III composite shells and all-aluminum Type I shells engineered to reduce system weight while supporting demanding mobile and industrial hydraulic applications.
The family includes high-pressure top- and bottom-loading PowerMax bladder accumulators, compact MicroMax bladder accumulators, and low-pressure AccuLite units.
300–6,000 PSI
Product families span low-pressure through high-pressure hydraulic service.
4 L–40 gal
Configurations range from compact bladder accumulators to large 40-gallon low-pressure systems.
Type III Composite + Type I Aluminum
Type III composite platforms use aluminum liners and carbon-fiber reinforcement, while AccuLite uses all-aluminum Type I construction.
Accumulator families
Three established platforms for a wide range of hydraulic applications.
Compare pressure range, construction and service strategy across Steelhead's commercial bladder accumulator portfolio.
PowerMax Series
6,000 PSI Composite Bladder Accumulators
High-pressure Type III composite accumulators with top- and bottom-repairable configurations. Both use a seamless 6061-T6 aluminum liner, carbon-fiber structural reinforcement and an external glass-fiber protective barrier.

Top Repairable
Bladder service through the gas-port end allows maintenance without removing the accumulator from the installed system.
- 6,000 PSI / 414 bar
- 5- to 30-gallon configuration
- 12-inch nominal diameter family
- 3.5-inch industry-standard steel oil-port opening

Bottom Repairable
Large-port architecture supports service access from the oil-port end, traditional steel threaded connections and enhanced neck-mount support.
- 6,000 PSI / 414 bar
- 10–30 gallon configurations at 6,000 PSI
- All configurations also available at 3,000 PSI
- Threaded or flanged oil-port interface

MicroMax Series
MicroMax
3,000–5,000 PSI Bladder Accumulators
Compact Type III bladder accumulators for weight-restricted, mobile and industrial applications, including remote, elevated or access-limited installations.

AccuLite Series
AccuLite
300 PSI Type I Bladder Accumulators
Lightweight all-aluminum accumulators for lower-pressure systems where corrosion resistance and reduced structural loading matter.
PowerMax Series
6,000 PSI bladder accumulators with top- and bottom-repairable configurations.
PowerMax combines a seamless 6061-T6 aluminum liner with carbon-fiber structural reinforcement and an external glass-fiber protective barrier.
Top Repairable
Bladder service through the gas-port end can reduce the need to remove the accumulator from the installed system.
Bottom Repairable
Large-port architecture supports traditional fluid connections and service access from the oil-port end.
High-Cycle Composite Structure
Carbon-fiber composite reinforcement over an aluminum liner with an additional glass-fiber protective layer.

MicroMax Series
Compact bladder accumulators from 3,000 to 5,000 PSI.
MicroMax provides a smaller Type III composite accumulator for weight-restricted mobile and industrial systems.
3,000 PSI Family
1 & 1.3-gallon configurations available.
5,000 PSI Rugged Family
1.3-gallon configuration available.
6.5–6.7 in OD
Compact diameter supports tighter hydraulic-system envelopes.

AccuLite Series
300 PSI all-aluminum accumulators for lightweight, corrosion-resistant systems.
AccuLite uses a seamless 6061-T6 aluminum shell to provide a lower-pressure bladder accumulator for mobile and weight-sensitive applications.
10–40 Gallons
Seven standard capacities from 38 to 151 liters.
300 PSI / 21 bar
Designed for lower-pressure hydraulic accumulator service.
Aluminum Construction
Natural corrosion resistance with optional powder coating and protective overwrap.
Applications
Designed for mobile, industrial and weight-sensitive hydraulic systems.
Mobile Equipment
Hydraulic energy storage where vehicle or equipment mass matters.
Industrial Systems
High-cycle hydraulic systems requiring durable, predictable accumulator performance.
Remote Installations
Compact composite systems for elevated, remote or difficult-to-access locations.
Weight-Restricted Platforms
Applications where reducing accumulator and support-structure mass improves system integration.
